The purpose of this project is to develop a feasibility study that will provide guidance to the Town of Taber and its partners for the potential development of a new indoor recreation facility. 

This project will engage community members in the Town and surrounding region to gather input and better understand the current and future need for a potential new recreation facility. This study will build upon previously completed work, including a Multi-Plex Feasibility Study (2015), Town of Taber's Recreation Master Plan (2020), Municipal District of Taber's Recreation Master Plan (2019), and other plans as applicable.

The session will begin with a brief presentation about the project followed by facilitated activities to collect your input.

Registration will be accepted until the start of the meeting and drop-in guests are welcome. However, it is recommended to register at least one day in advance, to help us prepare for space & refreshments.

We are bringing the conversation to you! This station provides a convenient, drop-in style opportunity for you to share your input.

The station will feature project boards that you can “stick” your input onto as well as fun, family-friendly activities to enjoy, including a lawn game challenge, balloons and colouring for the kids and an opportunity to show off your artistic talent through our “draw the future” activity.

We are throwing a pizza party to make sharing ideas social and fun! Youth are invited to enjoy pizza and pop, hang out with friends, and share what matters to them when it comes to a new recreation facility in Taber.

• The final plan is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2026.
