Hockey is back in Taber- just not on ice. Play On! brings Canada’s largest street hockey tournament to our community this March, with all proceeds supporting the rebuild of the Taber Arena.

Event Details

Location: Community Centre Parking Lot & Confederation Park, Taber

Cost: Free to attend (BBQs on Friday & Saturday are cash purchases)

Who Can Play in the Tournament:
- If you want to register to play in the tournament, click here.
- Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged!
Who Can Attend: Everyone is welcome to come and watch the games and have a great time! Bring the entire family!

What to Bring: a chair (we will have some bleachers set up), sunglasses, cash for the BBQs, warm clothing, and your COMMUNITY SPIRIT!

What to Wear: We recommend sunglasses & your favourite hockey jersey at minimum, but watch the forecast!

Maggie’s Place BBQ:
- 5-7 PM

Raise the Roof: A Charity Concert for Taber

On the evening of March 28th, the Taber Titans Charity & Spider Entertainment are hosting the Raise the Roof: A Charity Concert for Taber with the Road Hammers and special guests! So when the Play On! Street Hockey is done, head on over to the Agri-Plex to keep the night going! You don’t want to miss celebrating with these multiple-award-winning artists.

What is PlayOn! Canada?

Play On! Canada holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest street hockey festival. These events bring communities together through fun, inclusive street hockey while raising money for causes people truly care about.
