Proposed Bylaw 11-2020 Municipal Development Plan Amendment Bylaw
Take notice that the Town of Taber is proposing Bylaw 11-2020 - Municipal Development Plan Map Amendment Bylaw in order to replace the maps to reflect new boundaries of the municipality under the annexation Order in Council 275/2019. Please note the current Municipal Development Plan Bylaw 7-2016 will otherwise remain in effect.
Copies of the bylaw and maps may be obtained at the Town of Taber Administration building – Planning and Economic Development Department, or are available online here
If you have any comments on the proposed bylaw, Council would like to hear from you. On Monday, August 17,2020, at 3:30 pm, Council will hold a PUBLIC HEARING in the Town of Taber Council Chambers to consider proposed Bylaw 11-2020 Municipal Development Plan Amendment Bylaw.
If you are unable to attend the Public Hearing and would like to submit comments/concerns in writing, please submit them to the Town Office no later than noon on August 7, 2020.

Take notice that the Town of Taber is developing a Downtown Design Guideline, and would like to hear from the public.
The purpose of the Downtown Design Guideline for the Town of Taber is to encourage future development and redevelopment of the Downtown to complement and enhance the existing unique, small-town character. The guide has been developed to apply to Taber’s Downtown District in order to enrich the experience of residents, visitors, and others who may not otherwise come to the downtown core.
Copies of the Draft Downtown Design Guidelines may be obtained at the Town of Taber Administration building – Planning and Economic Development Department, or are available online here.
