What is Bylaw 21-2026?
The purpose of Bylaw 21-2026 is the rezone Plan 1612142 Block 2 Lots 19 and 20, Civic Address 5814 and 5816 64 Avenue from the Light Industrial (M-1) District to the Medium Industrial (M-2) District. As shown on the map below.
The intent of the of the rezoning is to bring the property into compliance with the Town of Taber Land use Bylaw and allow for future development on the site as per the Medium Industrial District. How Do I Provide Input?
In person: You can give input on the proposed bylaw at the public hearing on June 8, 2026
Virtually: If you cannot attend the public hearing in person you can register to provide your input virtually. You must register by emailing town@taber.ca no later than noon on June 8, 2026.
Written comments can be provided to Town Council and will form part of the public record and will be included in the report to Council. Written comments must be submitted to the Town Office or by email to planning@taber.ca no later than 4:30pm on June 3, 2026.

Proposed Bylaw 22-2026 – Northwest Area Structure Amendment

What is Bylaw 22-2026?
The purpose of Bylaw 22-2026 is to amend the Northwest Area Structure Plan to change the land use concept designation from low density residential to medium density residential development for Plan 26105314 Block 3 Lots 103-122 and Plan 2610531 Block 4 Lot 1 as shown on the map below.
The intent of the of the amendment is to allow for the development of townhousing/rowhousing at these locations.
