Canada 150 Mosaic Mural
Located at: The Taber Clinic (4900 44 Street)
Taber was one of the 150 municipalities across Canada to participate in the mosaic project for Canada's sesquicentennial.
On April 13, 2015, the Town of Taber's Council allocated funds to support the mosaic project.
From May 31st to June 2nd 2016 citizens of Taber went to the auditorium to paint individual tiles to go into the mosaic. In total there are 750 tiles.
The unveiling of the Canada 150 Mural was held on December 13, 2016 at the Taber Clinic.

Located at: The Taber Cenotaph Park (50 Avenue and 48 Street)
The statue of a soldier atop the Taber Cenotaph, crafted by an Italian sculptor is considered to be a near replica of a Canadian Soldier (Mr. Thomas Love). The picture above is from the Calgary Herald, a photograph of Doug Lacey holding a poster with the aforementioned soldier sculpted a the top of the Taber Cenotaph.
Along with the men who fell in the Second World War, the names of 25 Taber men who died in the Great War are inscribed on the monument.

Taber Rocks
Located at: All around Taber
Join the community decorating / painting / hiding / finding rocks. There are rocks already painted and hidden around Town, and you can paint and hide them too!
****WANT TO PAINT A ROCK?****
*Use unpolished clean dry rocks.
*Acrylic paints & permanent markers work best.
* Be mindful of the environment. Painted rocks should always be sealed and you never want the art rocks to be seen as litter, so don’t use glued-on additions (sequins, stickers, feathers, yarn, etc.).
*Please write "Taber Rocks" and the [f] Facebook symbol on the back and seal it so people know what to do with their discovery and how to find us! Please keep your artwork PG rated as kids love to look for and find the hidden rocks.
*"Hide" rocks out in the open. Also, do not leave rocks on private property or in cemeteries.
*Please be careful where you hide your rocks so that they don't cause any damage to property (i.e. Don't hide in the grass where it can damage a lawn mower or hurt someone). Don't steal rocks from private property or from someone's landscaping. Don't trespass.

Since 1981, the Town of Taber and Notogawa, Japan have been twinned municipalities. Notogawa was a town located in Kanzaki District, in Shiga Prefecture in Japan. In 2006, Notogawa was merged into the city of Higashiomi. Therefore, in 2006, Taber re-signed the Twinning Agreement to demonstrate the Town's commitment to keeping the friendship going.
