General information

All offers to purchase must be delivered to the Town of Taber Administration Building as per the Offer to Purchase Instructions no later than the Listing Deadline.
The Town will review the offer within a six week period and reserves the right to reject any offer.
Offers will be evaluated on overall price and terms.
The accepted offer shall be subject to Town Council approval.
If no offers are received within the proposed timeframe, the Town will continue to accept proposals until a suitable proposal is received.
Highest or any offer, may not necessarily be accepted.

Offer to Purchase Instructions

To be considered, the submitted Offer to Purchase must contain the following:

Any condition attached to the offer.
The name and contact information of individual/agent authorized to answer questions about the offer. Correspondence will only be directed to the appointed contact.

Each bid shall be addressed to the Town in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the following:

SUBMISSION OF LAND PURCHASE OFFERS

By submitting an Offer to Purchase, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees that they have received and reviewed all Land Sale documents and information provided by the Town.

The purchaser is responsible for meeting all submission requirements. By submitting an Offer to Purchase, each purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Town of Taber reserves the right to review and evaluate submissions in accordance with the Town’s land sale policies and procedures. Submissions must include all required forms and supporting information as identified in the Land Sale package.

Each submission shall be addressed to the Town in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the purchaser’s name, address, and the legal description or civic address of the property being applied for. The sealed envelope containing the Offer to Purchase must be delivered prior to the closing time identified in the Land Sale listing, in accordance with the instructions provided, to:
