Due to extremely dry conditions, the Town of Taber has imposed a Fire Ban.

All fire permits are now invalid until the Fire Ban is lifted.

This Fire Ban does not include backyard fire pits within the Town of Taber, provided they comply with Town of Taber Fire Services Bylaw No. 18-2023.

The Fire Ban is effective as of 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026, and will remain in place until conditions change and the Extreme Fire Hazard is reduced.
