Attention young, sweet-tooth architects of Taber! Contest Alert!

Santa’s Elves are occupying our Planning & Economic Development Departments for the next month, and they have a sweet surprise for all those young citizens who have sugarplum dreams of creating Taber’s best gingerbread house one day.

From now until December 14th, young Taberites can draw their dream gingerbread house, submit that drawing to the Planning Department & enter to win a prize! Full contest rules, eligibility, and the submission form can all be found here (forms can also be picked up at the Town Office).

Submissions & parental approval are due by December 14th at 4:30 PM, because Santa and his elves have to judge them! It’s free to enter, and there are Chamber Bucks to be won for each of the 4 age categories (Ages 0-5; 6-10; 11-14, and 15-17). Get as creative on paper as you want- after all, Santa is always looking for the best ideas for the holidays!
