Distance Vision
Minimum for those not requiring visual aid:
- 20/20 (6/6) stronger eye
- 20/30 (6/9) weaker eye
Minimum for those requiring visual aid:
- Unaided: 20/60 (6/18) each eye, or
- 20/40 (6/12) stronger eye
- 20/100 (6/30) weaker eye
- Aided: Must correct to
- 20/20 (6/18) stronger eye
- 20/30 (6/9) poorer eye

Horizontal Vision
Normal – not less than 130 degrees each eye examined separately.
Binoculor Vision
Normal
Color Vision
Ishihara must have 12 or more of 1-15 plates correct
Note: Corrective surgery is acceptable if visual acuity meets the above standards and will be assessed on an individual basis. |
